Additional engagement

Salibo Security Solution

Head of Mobile

London, United Kingdom

All projects

This additional engagement asked for someone to head the mobile function, not another pair of hands on the backlog. The product had to ship on both phones.

What I did

From 11/2023 I headed mobile at Salibo Security Solution Ltd as an additional engagement. I directed a six-person development team and oversaw delivery of the iOS and Android applications on React Native, Expo, TypeScript and Firebase.

How it felt

It felt like owning the function: the people, the stack, and two stores that had to receive the same product.

The challenges

Yes. Six developers and two operating systems leave no space for a head of mobile who only watches the tickets.

  1. 01

Heading a six-person development team without losing the product thread.

  2. 02

Owning delivery across React Native, Expo, TypeScript and Firebase.

  3. 03

Getting the same application to iOS and Android under one mandate.
