OWN Media Group asked for an advisor on CANVVS: commerce that could live on the same rails the other houses used, without becoming a copy of them.

What I did

As advisor I oversaw payment gateway, e-commerce, Shopify, Square POS, Stripe, localization and real-time commerce delivery for OWN Media Group / CANVVS.

How it felt

It felt like media commerce when it is done properly: the storefront, the till and the local path all in one delivery.

The challenges

Yes. A media house still needs a checkout that works, and it still needs the local details.
