Airport retail is a constrained environment: the store, the payment rail, the security posture and the airport itself all have a vote.
What I did
I directed global IT transformation across 14 locations and reduced mean time to resolution by ~20% through hybrid cloud and zero-trust security. I owned the email security programme that reduced phishing risk by ~30% through DMARC, DKIM and SPF, directed PCI-DSS-aligned airport payments, and oversaw RFID, IoT and ERP integration across airport retail.
How it felt
It felt operational in the best sense: if the store could not trade, the architecture did not matter.
The challenges
Yes. Fourteen locations, airport constraints and payments that had to stay PCI-DSS-aligned left little room for theatre.
